This project involved drilling of two open loop boreholes for a ground source heat pump system in a tight city centre location.

Working in the grounds of a listed building drilling was undertaken at 311mm finished diameter boreholes with 339mm permanent steel cemented to rock at 30m.

Due to the yields required the boreholes were drilled much deeper than originally intended and completion depth was 300m BGL on each.

Following drilling works ANTS undertook the pump testing in line with the EA requirements and are also contracted to complete all follow-on pipework and reinstatement of the working areas.
